BRISTOL, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Packers Plus, a pioneer in open-hole, multi-stage completion systems for petroleum production, is working with international expansion expert Radius as demand for the company’s hydraulic fracturing technology grows in Australia. After several successful completion projects in Australia over the past two years, Packers Plus has located its first office there, and Radius is supporting the small in-country team as it focuses on rapidly growing its sales pipeline.
“As we build momentum in Australia, it’s critical that our small team is able to focus its efforts on serving new demand,” said Daniela Bujor, HR manager, international, for Packers Plus. “Thanks to Radius, we’ve been able to get up and running quickly, and we now have a solid base from which we can steadily and compliantly grow in the future. We expect to call upon Radius again to help us solve future challenges in other international markets.”
Packers Plus, founded in 2000 and headquartered in Calgary, now has offices in China, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, among other countries. To manage its new operations in Australia, Packers Plus is using OverseasConnect, a cloud-based software platform developed by Radius that gives clients a big-picture view of all their country operations. The platform, supported by experts from Radius, manages all necessary transactional details related to employees, payroll, vendors, payments and expenses in Australia.
“Whether a company has a few employees in one location or hundreds, managing a country’s unique HR, administrative and financial complexities is challenging,” said John Clancy, president of Radius. “Packers Plus is entering a highly competitive oil and gas market in Australia, and its Calgary team wants assurance that operations are running as smoothly there as they do at headquarters. OverseasConnect provides this level of visibility and much more.”
