What: |
The When to Apply Self-Adhesive Graphics to Paint presentation will explore the variables associated with painted surfaces such as plywood, drywall, and cinderblock and how to best use self-adhesives with these surfaces. For example, graphics with adhesives that are too low-tack may fall off, while graphics with overaggressive adhesives may damage the surface, leading to costly repairs. Attendees will also learn how to take into account aspects such as the brand of paint or the paint type (acrylic, latex, and oil-based) when applying self-adhesives. Presenters will explain when a paint is sufficiently cured to apply graphics and the difference between cured and dried, when a paint requires a more aggressive adhesive and test methods for paint curing timelines. |
