MHG Announces New Contracts to Manufacture Specialty Products

MHG Signs Multimillion Dollar Agreements to Provide Expertise to Global Companies

BAINBRIDGE, Ga.--()--Biopolymer manufacturer, MHG, announced they are leveraging their technological expertise to offer services in “Specialty Toll Manufacturing.” The company is currently providing “Specialty Tolling” to three Fortune 500 companies, and is expanding to offer this service to others already in the pipeline.

The service will allow clients to outsource to MHG, but using their own formulations, materials and instructions. MHG will produce the products using their state of the art equipment, facility and fully trained and experienced staff. While toll manufacturing is a common practice in the marketplace, MHG is now providing this service in addition to manufacturing biopolymers.

“Through our experience with many products, formulations and customer’s applications we probably have a 10 year lead with our `Reactive Extrusion' technology and are now contracting that expertise to a pipeline of customers,” stated Dr. Paul Pereira, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO at MHG. “As MHG continues to focus on biopolymer manufacturing, we have recently added this new service to help our customers meet their demands for specialty products.”

For more than ten years, MHG has had the most advanced reactive extrusion process that was perfected by DaniMer Scientific, with its state of the art production equipment, laboratories, material handling and logistics services. The new service allows customers to capitalize on the experience MHG has in the different processes, as well as the usage of equipment essentially saving on operational costs. “We pioneered the replacement of PE in extrusion coating and utilizing our reactive extrusion 10 years ago.”

“Over the last six months, we have learned that our customers need our experience and technology. This new service has been very well accepted by our customers and we are currently working on 2 more tolling contracts that are expected to close by the end of this year,” said Scott Tuten, Chief Marketing Officer at MHG. “We are very proud of what we have to offer and the potential we have to help grow our customer’s businesses in many ways. With over 100 million pounds of capacity in reactive extrusion, as well as research and development, MHG can be a one stop shop for companies.”

MHG has been touring potential customers interested in this service through their Bainbridge facility and labs and to meet the team. For more information, please visit www.meredianinc.com.

In addition to this new service, MHG is continuing to make great strides in the biopolymer industry as they continue on their plan to deliver commercialized products next year after the final phase of build out at the MHG property.
