Booker Merchants See Continued Increase in Gift Certificate Sales During Black Friday Weekend

NEW YORK--()--Booker, the leading platform for service commerce, today announced that its Health, Wellness and Beauty merchants saw a steady increase in gift certificate sales during the 2014 Black Friday weekend.

Approximately 8,500 of Booker’s merchants sold a total of $3.4M in gift certificate revenue over the holiday weekend. Booker merchants enjoyed a total increase of 18% in gift certificate sales and 24% in gift certificate revenue compared to 2013.

While the IBM 2014 Black Friday Sales Report describes a decrease in the value of transactions for all retailers this holiday season, Health, Wellness and Beauty businesses are holding strong.
