Conviva Brings Global Intelligence and Online Video Quality Reporting to Horizon Go by Liberty Global

The leading international cable company draws on Conviva global intelligence to boost viewer experience and video quality on its revolutionary digital TV platform

SAN MATEO, Calif.--()--Conviva, the leader in real-time big data, viewer-centric video optimization, today announced a deal with Liberty Global, the largest international cable company, to provide its global intelligence and real-time audience and quality reporting for Horizon TV.

Liberty Global’s multi-screen product Horizon Go offers its customers the possibility to watch live TV and on demand content on their laptop, tablet and smartphone. By using the Horizon Go app, available for iOS and Android, and the website www.horizon.tv for PC’s and laptops, customers can experience a variety of content inside and outside the home. Customers with a Horizon TV settop-box can even use the app as a virtual remote control.

Horizon Go is already available in seven European countries and this will be expanded to more countries. The possibilities may vary by country due to licensing agreements. Conviva’s real-time big data processing will ensure viewers get the quality experience they expect and deserve.

Conviva Insights provides the most detailed, granular look at the customer viewing experience-providing publishers the aggregated information they need to control the video delivery for a high quality experience without buffering and at the best quality possible. Insights will also provide aggregated real-time diagnostics and alerts, across all devices, to identify potential issues that may impede the viewing experience as well as opportunities to improve overall quality.
