Founding Member of Facebook and NEA Entrepreneur in Residence Joins Philo to Drive Next-Generation Television Experience for Universities

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--()--Philo, an innovative next-generation TV platform, today announces the appointment of Andrew McCollum as the company’s CEO. Philo works with dozens of universities around the country to deliver live television and DVR to students on any of their devices with intelligent search, insightful discovery, and effortless sharing.

Prior to joining Philo, McCollum was an Entrepreneur in Residence at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Philo’s lead investor, and Flybridge Partners, a seed investor in Philo. He was also on the founding team of Facebook and has been an active early-stage angel investor and advisorMcCollum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University.
