Mode Media Debuts Glam’s Top 100 Beauty Annual Awards of 2014

First-ever panel of judges comprised of traditional and new media editors, experts, influencers and trend spotters selected the top 100 beauty products of the year

BRISBANE, Calif.--()--Mode Media (www.modemediacorp.com), a top 10 US media property with over 250 Million unique users worldwide, today announced the inaugural Glam Top 100 Beauty Awards. Launched on Glam.com and via a special edition on the Glam Style app, which can be downloaded in the iTunes store, the inaugural Beauty 100 Awards covers the very best new beauty products of 2014, from mascara and blush to moisturizer and hair styling tools. Top 100 Beauty winners were tested and evaluated by an unprecedented panel that brought together celebrities, beauty editors and experts, as well as leading online beauty influencers, representing the broadest range of opinions and needs to define the best new products.

Judges for the Glam Top 100 Beauty included Molly Sims, Michelle Phan, celebrity makeup artists Charlotte Tilbury and Troy Surratt, hair aficionados Harry Josh and Rita Hazan, celebrated manicurist Deborah Lippman, esteemed dermatologists Dr. Roy Geronemus and Dr. David Goldberg, People’s Andrea Lavinthal, Cosmopolitan’s Leah Wyar, Fitness’ Heather Muir, and Lucky’s Jean Godfrey-June. A diverse group of trusted bloggers and vloggers, including Leesha Collinge of xSparkage, Patrice Yursik of Afrobella, Rae Lyu of The RAEviewer and Leah Ashley and Mary Darling of A Fab Life also gathered to test the top products and vote on the winners.

Winners were carefully selected from 1,258 submissions in 25 categories, with four winners in each category. Highlights include:

Oral Care: Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Pink Edition

Natural/Green: Yes to Coconut Cleansing Wipes

Lipstick: AERIN Rose Balm Lipsticks

Nail Polish: NARS x 3.1 Phillip Lim Nail Polish
