MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the appointment of Robert Nurmi as Vice President of Sales – Americas of Park Electrochemical Corp. In this position, Mr. Nurmi will report to Christopher T. Mastrogiacomo, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Park Electrochemical Corp.
Mr. Nurmi had been Vice President of Program Management since July 2014 and Director of New Product Marketing of Park Electrochemical Corp. from 2010 to July 2014. Prior to joining Park in June 2008 as Director of European Sales, Mr. Nurmi was Vice President of Corporate Development at Tonoga, Ltd., doing business as Taconic, an international industrial and RF/microwave advanced materials manufacturing company located in Petersburgh, New York. Mr. Nurmi was employed by Taconic from 1991 to February 2007, holding various general management positions with international responsibilities. Prior to his employment by Taconic, Mr. Nurmi worked at Park’s New England Laminates business unit in Walden, New York as a technical service manager and worked for several years in various printed circuit fabrication companies. Mr. Nurmi received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
