Ms. Tibbetts is President and Founder of She’s the First, a not for profit organization that supports education for girls in low income countries. She is raising scholarship money for She’s the First through the national Run the World campaign where individuals tie fitness goals to fundraising. The program’s goal is to raise $150,000 by November 2nd to sponsor girls’ education in low-income countries like Peru, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Kenya, Nepal, South Sudan, and Uganda, giving these girls the chance to become the first in their families to graduate from secondary school.
