CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rewards Network Inc. today announced the appointment of Dan Kazan as Chief Executive Officer. Kazan has also been named a member of the company’s Board of Directors. An experienced media, marketing and information services executive, Kazan will be responsible for setting the company’s strategy to drive growth and leading the day-to-day operations. Kazan succeeds Peter Bynoe, who resigned to accept a new opportunity with Equity Group Investments.

For the past 15 years, Kazan has been instrumental in the evolution of Tribune Company. He recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Tribune Media Services, one of the world’s leading providers of entertainment-related data. Under Kazan’s leadership, TMS grew significantly, expanding into new products and markets.
During his tenure at Tribune, Kazan also played a major role in the company’s successful forays into the digital world. He led the company’s corporate development group and worked with numerous early and growth stage companies. Dan has served on the Boards of Directors of CareerBuilder, Classified Ventures, Legacy.com and several other digital media and marketing services companies.
