AIKEN, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AGY Holding Corp., a leading producer of specialty glass fibers, today announced the appointment of Patrick J. Burns as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Pat comes from Precision Fabrics Group (“PFG”), where he served for 16 years as Chief Financial Officer and Co-CEO, running the woven products group. He was instrumental in repositioning PFG as an innovative leader of specialty niche products in the textile industry. He also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the interior systems group of Lear Corporation, a Fortune 250 company serving the global automotive industry.
Pat currently sits on the Board of Directors of Wikoff Color Corporation.
Burns is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from University of North Carolina.
