BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--North Atlantic Industries (NAI) announces the availability of its latest 6U rugged VPX power product — the VPX56-6. Ideally suited for rugged military and commercial aerospace applications, the VPX56-6 provides up to 700 watts of power (CC4 temperature range, full load) with five outputs and is compliant with MIL-STD-704F. Other features include current share, remote error sensing and a built-in EMI filter compliant with MIL-STD-461, CE-102 — all within a single slot 1.0″ pitch, 6U package. The VPX56-6 is designed to meet standard 6U VPX mechanical requirements and has VITA 62 compatible outputs and signaling.
“The VPX56-6 gives our customers the added capability of meeting stringent power requirements in a compact rugged COTS package,” said Lino Massafra VP Sales and Marketing. Many of today’s military systems rely heavily on high efficiency power supplies that can support OpenVPX requirements and withstand MIL-STD-704 low and high voltage transients. The VPX56-6 is the latest in a complete line of NAI VPX power converters that support some of today’s most demanding system power requirements.”
Basic pricing configuration starts at $4,250ea. in quantities of 100. Remote error sensing and current share are included.
