SEOUL, South Korea--()--PLUSTECH Inc., a company specialized in network security, is presenting technical alternative to prevent dysfunctions of smartphones such as blocking pornographic content, academic environment hampering content, smartphone addiction and other malice influencer in smartphones. It is called ‘Mobile Child Care’ (or MCC) service.

MCC service blocks children access to harmful sites and apps downloads, and has features to control smartphone usage time, location tracking, and violent text monitoring. PLUSTECH offer this service in partnership with major telecommunication companies or educational institutions based on technology that was developed through long years of gathering and accumulating more than 10 million harmful sites, apps database, and user-specific content filtering technology.

PLUSTECH MCC service does not require individuals to install application to their smartphones. Harmful sites are blocked at telco’s and cellco’s network levels. Currently, PLUSTECH’s service secured more than 2 million subscribers by collaborating with major Asian telecommunication companies. In addition, MCC service demand is high in other Asian, Middle East, European countries and elsewhere with continuous inquiries about MCC.

The United States Kaiser Family Foundation research indicated over 70% of children has encountered pornography on the web accidentally. This clearly shows the importance of blocking harmful sites for children to prevent any unpleasant experience. Meanwhile 26% of parents have reported that they have installed parent control software to block harmful content.
