MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axalta Coating Systems’, a leading manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, Mount Clemens manufacturing plant participated in the Macomb County Business Preparedness Conference located at Freedom Hill on September 30, 2014. The plant makes coatings for car manufacturers. Other business functions are also located at the facility including: research and development, engineering, manufacturing, human resources and supply chain.
Macomb County’s focus for the conference was to educate businesses and the public on how to prepare for a disaster. This was the third annual business preparedness event for Macomb County.

In addition to helping to present certain preparedness tips, the Axalta manufacturing plant’s fire truck was on hand for demonstrations and photos.
