Cardinal Bank Promotes Martha Wilson to Vice President in Commercial Lending Division

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--()--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) announced today that Martha S. Wilson has been promoted to Vice President in the Commercial Lending Division of Cardinal Bank. Wilson will continue to manage an existing loan portfolio in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business unit, and focus on developing new business opportunities.

Wilson has worked in the financial services industry for more than 12 years. She joined Cardinal Bank in September 2010 as Assistant Vice President, with a strong foundation in commercial lending to a broad spectrum of industries, including healthcare professionals and non-profits. Wilson brings particular expertise in relationship management, commercial credit, and risk analysis to her new role, which will be focused primarily on business development in Cardinal's Fairfax Market. Prior to joining Cardinal, Wilson was an Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst for Virginia Commerce Bank.

Wilson is a longtime resident of the Annandale and Springfield areas of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Auburn University, and has been active in Foreign Exchange Student programs to the Netherlands and Germany. She is a graduate of the Leadership Fairfax Class of 2013, and a current student of the Virginia Bankers Association, School of Bank Management, Class of 2016. In the community, Wilson serves on the board for the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra as Chair of the Education Committee. She is a strong supporter of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, and has been an active member of New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fairfax for two decades.
