Ingersoll Rand Embarks on North American Roadshow for New Line of Assembly Power Tools

’The Future Is Real Tour’ truck will travel through U.S. and into Mexico to demonstrate innovative QXTM Series of tools

DAVIDSON, N.C.--()--Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in compressed air systems and services, power tools, material handling, and fluid management equipment, is hitting the road this summer on a North American tour to demonstrate the QX Series of assembly power tools. The Future Is Real Tour kicked off in Detroit the week of July 14 and will stop at various distributor and customer locations across the United States and parts of Mexico until the end of October. The tour will culminate with a stop at The ASSEMBLY Show 2014 in Chicago.

Ingersoll Rand will use the tour to engage directly with customers and educate channel partners on the benefits of using the QX Series in assembly lines. The Future Is Real Tour highlights the next-generation functionality of the QX Series of cordless tools and the impact QX technology will have on operator facilities. The centerpiece of each event is an assembly-themed activation truck equipped with display units and hands-on demonstrations of each tool, including the QX Precision Screwdriver, the QX Haz Tool and the newly launched QX Series Angle Wrench. The truck contains several interactive demonstration stations, product displays and literature handouts. Ingersoll Rand will provide giveaways and refreshments at the events for attendees to enjoy.

The Future Is Here. The Future Is Now. The Future Is Real.

"The QX Series Angle Wrench brings a unique combination of precision, ergonomics and reliability to the assembly market,” said John Evans, president of power tools at Ingersoll Rand. “Now, we have the opportunity to show our customers first-hand how the tools’ unprecedented control, accuracy and data communication give operators total control of their lines. It’s exciting to be moving to the next generation of assembly tools and we look forward to bringing that experience directly to the people who rely on tools for their jobs every day.”
