Visionworks to Provide Free Vision Screenings at 2014 Deutsche Bank Championship

Official eyewear retailer of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour provides services to promote healthy vision

BOSTON--()--Visionworks, the official eyewear retailer of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour, announced today it will provide free vision screenings to attendees of the 2014 Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., this week. Spectators of the Deutsche Bank Championship can visit the Visionworks expo booth where Visionworks associates will administer free vision screenings, provide eye health information and offer attendees the chance to win prizes.

Visionworks supports the health and wellness of both the Boston area residents and the players on the PGA TOUR. In addition to free vision screenings, Visionworks also sponsors the Player Mobile Health and Fitness Trailers. Staffed by professional physical therapists and athletic trainers, the Player Mobile Health and Fitness Trailers are available to golfers at several stops on the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour, for personal conditioning, preventative care and rehabilitation.

About the Deutsche Bank Championship

The Deutsche Bank Championship is in its eighth year as a FedExCup playoff event on the PGA TOUR, and 2013 concluded with Henrik Stenson atop the leaderboard at 22-under-par 262. Two strokes ahead of Steve Stricker. The championship victory was Stenson’s first PGA TOUR win since 2009, but he did not stop there.
