Just Desserts Promotes Chef Terry Watson to Vice President of Culinary

Watson brings her expertise and innovative style to Just Desserts by crafting uniquely creative and irresistible products

OAKLAND, Calif.--()--Just Desserts, a pioneer in hand-crafted desserts and sweet snacks, today announced the promotion of Chef Terry Watson to Vice President of Culinary for Just Desserts. This promotion recognizes Watson’s contributions to the Just Desserts executive leadership team and expands her role to include consulting on new business development strategy and working with key retail customers on strategic product execution.

Watson came to Just Desserts in August 2012 as a classically trained and award winning pastry chef. She brings deep experience in leading culinary innovation and a passion for raising the bar on American dessert choices. She is classically trained in both the U.S. and Paris, studying at Ecole Lenotre, Plaisir, France, the Culinary Institute of America, and International School of Confectionery. Before joining Just Desserts, Watson was the Corporate Executive Chef at Dawn Foods Inc. where she led culinary innovation for product development and presentation for head chefs at Panera, McDonald's and AuBonPain. In addition to her career as a corporate chef, Watson was a Pastry Chef Instructor for Culinary Arts students at Golden State Culinary Institute. She was also awarded the Gold Medal in the International Culinary Exhibition, commonly known as the “culinary Olympics,” in Erfurt, Germany in 2000. Her storied career provides Watson with valuable business and pastry expertise that will help grow and refine the Just Desserts brand.
