STG Wins Department of State’s Compensation and Financial System Services Contract

STG to support worldwide compensation and financial operations.

RESTON, Va.--()--STG, Inc. (STG) has been awarded the Department of State’s (DoS) Compensation and Financial System Services contract, which has a 5-year period of performance and a total value of $67.3 million. As the prime, STG will work closely with DoS system owners, system managers, and business owners in the operations and maintenance of more than a dozen major application systems supporting worldwide compensation and financial operations. The scope of work is in support of several key directorates and office activities including: Comptroller Global Financial Services (CGFS)/Global Financial Management Systems (GFMS) – Program Management and Analysis; CGFS/GFMS Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) – Design, Development and Maintenance; and CGFS Charleston Operations Support for Compensation.

“During the past 15 years, we have directly supported the DoS in the development and maintenance of many of the key financial, timekeeping, compensation, and ancillary systems,” said Eric Wieman, STG Systems Design and Development Sector Senior Vice President. “Our staff has worked closely with DoS American and Locally Employed staff worldwide in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of many of DoS’s key financial and compensation systems.”

The systems that STG will jointly support with DoS colleagues handle day-to-day compensation and financial transactions for more than 185 DoS embassies worldwide and paying more than 85,000 State Department and serviced agency employees.
