ATLANTA--()--Actress and comedic legend Betty White recently returned to the studio to record a series of Web videos for The Lifeline Program, offering information on new ways for seniors to pay for retirement. White, who recorded the award-winning “I’m Still Hot” viral video for The Lifeline Program in 2012, taped the web videos to encourage financial planners and advisors to educate their clients about retirement options available through life insurance settlements.

Amid recent news that more than one third of Americans have saved nothing for their golden years, life settlements are becoming increasingly popular and needed. The videos, which will be available soon on The Lifeline Program website, address some of the newest trends in life settlements such as the availability of annual policy evaluations and a new product called “Retained Life Benefits” which enables eligible seniors to sell a life insurance policy but keep a portion of the death benefit for their loved ones.

In one video, White is joined by Lifeline’s President and CEO Wm. Scott Page, and both toast the company’s 25 years of helping seniors fulfill their hopes and dreams of a fabulous retirement. White, who redefines retirement herself, also thanked financial professionals for the hard work they have done on behalf of America’s retired population.

“We have worked with Betty for nearly a decade and she has become the proud and powerful face of our industry,” said Stephen E. Terrell, senior vice president of market development and branding for The Lifeline Program. “Financial advisors and retirees respect and trust her. This helps us communicate better, and helps many seniors lead a more financially stable life.”
