CALVERTON, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EngagePoint put a charitable twist on its recent trade show appearance at the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference in Denver, Colorado, Aug.18-21. To attract visitors to its booth, EngagePoint pre-mailed vouchers to registrants, instructing attendees to ‘redeem’ them for a donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies. Each voucher equaled a $1 donation -- enough to provide four meals. EngagePoint committed to matching those voucher redemptions up to $1,500 or 6,000 meals.
In addition, the company stacked full-size jars of peanut butter at its booth to track its progress and offer a compelling visual to passersby. Each jar represented 100 meals donated, and those were also presented to the Food Bank following the conference’s conclusion.
“1 in 6 people in America face hunger every day. The response and generosity of the conference attendees went above and beyond our expectations. EngagePoint was honored to partner with the Food Bank of the Rockies and use this event to help them raise awareness, fight hunger and feed hope with this donation,” remarked Stacy Davis, EngagePoint’s vice president of marketing.
EngagePoint donated $1,000 equaling 4,000 meals to Food Bank of the Rockies along with 60 jars of peanut butter from the event. For more information, visit www.EngagePoint.com.
