SAN FRANCISCO--()--Bubblews, the social network that shares, today announced the results of its Back-to-School Sentiment Report to discover who is the most and least excited about going back to school. The sentiment report included 5,000 random users around the world, including those from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, China, India, Australia, Japan, Vietnam and Kenya. Members included students from high school and college, as well as teachers and professors. Of all members, those in Japan are the most excited for back-to-school, whereas those in Vietnam are the least excited. Regardless of geographic location, university members were the most excited, and high school students were the least.

Based on a sentiment rating of +5 as the best and -5 as the worst, back-to-school sentiment by country included:

  1. Japan: +2.8
  2. India: +2.4
  3. Philippines: + 2.34
  4. Canada: +1.7
  5. USA: +1.19
  6. UK: +0.25
  7. Kenya: -0.0076
  8. Australia: -0.11
  9. China: -.0.4
  10. Vietnam: -2.25

Furthermore, no matter the geographic location, university members with a sentiment rating of +1.5 and college students and professors both with a sentiment rating of +1.4 were the most excited for back-to-school. High school students were the least excited with a sentiment rating of -0.0076.
