ASC Revs Up to Celebrate Recent Successes at the Woodward Dream Cruise

WARREN, Mich.--()--ASC will feature its remarkable history at the 2014 Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15. The company has invited select fans, friends, and customers to celebrate with the ASC team at The Village Playhouse in Birmingham where vintage cars, photos, mementos and stories from ASC’s past and present will be on display.

“This event serves as a prelude to our 50th anniversary in 2015,” says Joe Bione, CEO of ASC. “Since ASC cars will be running up and down Woodward, the Dream Cruise is the perfect venue to showcase ASC’s reputation as a leader in innovative design and world-class production and delivery. Recent achievements for the company include:

  • A Partnership with Stola Engineering - ASC recently finalized a relationship with Stola Engineering -- an engineering, services, and manufacturing organization based in Turin, Italy -- to jointly pursue new customer programs. This partnership provides Stola with a North American presence while expanding ASC’s global capabilities.
  • GM Platinum Level Recognition. General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales division awarded their Certificate of Excellence and Platinum Supplier Status for “Outstanding On-Time Shipping Performance” to ASC's Lexington, KY facility. GM presented ASC Lexington with this award for their dedication and commitment to consistently perform above expectations over a multi-year period
  • Relaunch of MV-1 Handicapped Accessible Vehicle. ASC successfully re-launched the power and manual ramps for the MV-1 with its new owner, AM General. ASC was also selected by AM General to provide the upscale LX seat covers.
