Main Event Entertainment to Open First Center in the Rio Grande Valley

Company opens its doors in Pharr on August 6

DALLAS--()--Main Event Entertainment, the fastest-growing family entertainment center in America, is celebrating its new center opening in Pharr, Texas, a suburb near McAllen in the Rio Grande Valley. Doors will open to the public at 9 a.m. on August 6.

The new center in Pharr follows the company’s recent opening in the Atlanta-area suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia, and it’s the second of seven centers Main Event will open across the U.S. over the next seven months. The Pharr location is the first of two new locations that will open in Texas. The company will open a new center in West San Antonio later this year as part of its ongoing national expansion.

The new 58,000-square-foot Main Event Entertainment center in Pharr will be at 500 N. Jackson Road, at the corner of Expressway 83 and Jackson Road, next to Cinemark Pharr Town Center. The company’s unique “Eat.Bowl.Play.” experience features state-of-the-art bowling; multi-level laser tag; a gravity ropes adventure course; more than 100 interactive, virtual and video games; regulation size billiard tables; full-service bars; quality dining experiences and free Wi-Fi access.
