ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO.L), the leading provider of enterprise application modernization, testing, and management solutions, today announced that it has received Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Accreditation for several of its change management and testing tools available to the U.S. Air Force, enabling the Air Force to accelerate application delivery and enhance IT modernization efforts.
With the new Information Assurance (IA) accreditation, four Micro Focus products within the Borland solution portfolio – Caliber, Silk Performer, Silk Test and StarTeam – can be placed on the Air Force’s encrypted products list and run on secure Air Force networks, in turn easing the process by which Air Force PEOs can utilize Micro Focus products for requirements, application testing, and change management processes.
