According to the National Parks and Recreation Association, “Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation’s official Parks and Recreation Month. This year we are focusing on setting trends instead of following them, making 2014 the year people go outside, change their outlook, and get involved in their community through parks and recreation.”
The Aliso Viejo Community Association (AVCA), managed since inception by PCM, provides many activities for community members within the association parks; everything from yoga and fitness classes and soccer and baseball to concerts and holiday celebrations in the 20 acres of parks that are the responsibility of AVCA.
The Lake Forest Community Association celebrated its 25 year traditional Fourth of July Celebration with more than 700 members in attendance enjoying music as well as big splash, hula hoop, limbo and watermelon eating contests. In addition, the community volunteers partnered with the local scouting troops to grill hamburgers and hotdogs and enjoy the Lake Forest Yacht Club boat parade!
The Lake Forest Community Association is also in the process of renovating its unique lagoon area with state-of-the-art filtration systems to provide a unique amenity for the residents of this fabulous community located in Lake Forest, California.
