NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Granite Telecommunications, LLC, a provider of voice, data, networking, and other communications services, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new office space in New York City today. With space for up to sixty employees, Granite’s new office consists of 10,000 square feet and covers the entire 7th floor of 462 Seventh Avenue. The office is opportunely positioned just blocks from Penn Station and Times Square. Granite’s Chief Operating Officer, Rand Currier, led the grand opening celebration.
A start up with fewer than 25 employees in 2002, Granite has grown rapidly each year since then. The company now employs over 1,200, has annualized revenue that already exceeds $975M and is on pace to eclipse $1 billion this summer. Granite’s growth comes in part from Granite’s expanded product offering, which include data and IP products and services designed to suit the communications needs of its business and governmental customers. The office opening in Manhattan is the fifth newly opened and expanded office space for the company, which has expanded its headquarters in Quincy and opened new offices in Atlanta, Miami and Providence, RI.
