Wheelsure Holdings plc (the “Company”)
Further to the Chairman’s Statement contained within the Company’s Interim Report announced on 29 May 2014, the Directors of the Company wish to update shareholders of further progress as follows:-
Further small orders have been received from the London Underground as Tracksure continues to broaden its network within that organisation. The Board can also report of progress within the Docklands Light Railway and expects to receive its first order in the near future.
As referred to in the Chairman’s statement in the interim results, approximately 500 bolts have been supplied to DB Netz AG to build two master retarders to enable a final six month assessment to extend the current “type” approval to “overall” approval.
The Board is pleased to inform shareholders that these retarders have now been built by DB Netz in Wuppertal and the first went into service on 10 June 2014 and a second on 24 June 2014, both in the marshalling yard in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Board is also very pleased to inform shareholders that it has now also received confirmation from DB Netz AG that they have specified the “innovative Tracksure fastener system” in a protocol for 36 further retarders to be built by Siemens AG for a major refurbishment project in Halle, Germany.
Additionally, Tracksure has commenced the process to gain Approved Supplier Status (Category 1) in order to enable it to supply future orders directly to DB Netz AG. This will facilitate Tracksure products being able to be purchased for routine service work in Germany’s multiple marshalling yards.
Tracksure products have now been successfully installed in Australia by two contractors as part of evaluation projects and it is anticipated that similar exercises will commence in the near future in Malaysia and South Africa.
The directors of the Company are responsible for the contents of this announcement.
