Computerworld magazine selected the 100 companies from 461 nominations. The selections are based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding benefits, diversity, career development, training, retention and a worker satisfaction survey.

- 16 appearances on the InformationWeek list of "Top Technology Innovators"
Additionally, Lifeworks Services named Securian its 2014 Employer of the Year for the full-time employment opportunities it provides for individuals with disabilities.
