NEW YORK & SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MOKO Social Media Limited (NASDAQ GM MOKO, ASX Code MKB) , a provider of highly tailored mobile social community platforms containing premium and targeted mobile advertising to select audiences who need to share their content and information with their members, announced today that it has priced its U.S. initial public offering of 1.1 million American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”), each representing 40 ordinary shares of the Company, at a public offering price of US$7.50 per ADS. The ADSs are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on June 27, 2014 under the symbol “MOKO.” The closing of the initial public offering is expected to occur on July 1, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.
The total gross proceeds of the offering are expected to be $8.25 million, which would be increased to approximately US$9.5 million in the event of the exercise by the underwriters of their 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 165,000 ADSs solely to cover over-allotments, if any. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including the hiring of additional technology staff in Australia and sales and marketing associates in the U.S., the purchase or lease of additional information technology infrastructure such as servers and ongoing business development.
