PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vigilant, a company dedicated to helping companies in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and California solve their most complex employment issues, today announced that its board of directors has appointed Derek Glos as Vigilant president effective January 1, 2015.
Vigilant is currently under the leadership of Rodger Glos who has served as president of the organization and its member companies successfully for over 27 years. Under Glos’ leadership, the company has more than doubled annual revenue from $3.4 million to $8 million while expanding staff capabilities and earning a reputation as one of the premiere employer organizations in the United States.
Derek Glos, who currently serves as vice president of operations at Vigilant, has been with the company for over 10 years. In this new role, Glos succeeds his father, continuing a legacy of family leadership starting with Vigilant’s first president Karl Glos. Glos will become the fourth president in the organization’s 54 year history.
