NEWARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) announced an update to its Harmony® Ultimate remote, allowing you to view and adjust your Nest® Learning ThermostatTM settings directly from the remote’s 2.4-inch color touch-screen. In addition to controlling temperature, you can also change the thermostat’s settings, such as switching from heating to cooling or turning the system off completely.

With one touch of the remote or the Harmony App on your tablet or smartphone, you can dim your Philips Hue lights, turn on your TV, start a movie, and now set the temperature on your Nest thermostat.”

This update also enables the Logitech Harmony Ultimate to communicate with Nest’s Auto-AwayTM function. Because both the remote and Nest Thermostat are connected to your home network, when you pick up the remote it notifies your Nest Thermostat that you’re home, and Nest adjusts the home temperature according to your settings.
