SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2014 BIO International Convention, the world’s largest biotechnology event, kicks off today in the San Diego Convention Center and goes through Thursday, June 26. Hosted by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, this year’s event is expected to attract more than 3,000 biotechnology companies and more than 15,000 attendees from 48 states and 65 countries.

Media registration is open from 7:00am – 6:30pm at the San Diego Convention Center. The Convention program features more than 160 sessions in 8 breakout sessions and 9 specialty forums.
