PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gamers ready to experience the thrilling action of FireChaser Express, the nation’s first dual-launch family coaster, now can do so virtually even before they board the ride. Even better, they can win a free pass to the Express Lane at the park’s innovative new attraction!
In FireChaser Express – The Game, players speed along the distinctive FireChaser Express track, racing to save the day from impending fire. Along the way, players encounter various obstacles, including fallen trees, boulders and track breaks. As the FireChaser Express train navigates through the beautifully detailed 3-D landscape, players collect golden stars to earn points to assist them during their journey.
After reaching the end of the line, gamers must put out a five-alarm fire at Crazy Charlie’s Gas & Fireworks Emporium. Once the fire is extinguished, players can register their high score. Those playing in the queue line at FireChaser Express have added incentive to record their score. Each hour between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., the person with the highest score receives a pass for two to move in to the express lane for their next ride on FireChaser Express. Families can download the game prior to arriving at Dollywood in order to practice their skills before they are put to the test at FireChaser Express!
FireChaser Express – The Game follows 2013’s popular RiverRush –The Game, which marked the debut of Dollywood’s Mobile Adventures, an interactive hub which provides guests an opportunity to explore the incredible fun of the Dollywood experience. Users may download both games for free in the iTunes store or the Google Play store.
FireChaser Express launches twice, traveling forward and backward on a winding 2,427-foot track. The coaster launches from the loading station forward, and after a surprise fireworks explosion at Crazy Charlie’s Gas & Fireworks Emporium, riders are catapulted in reverse back to the station!
FireChaser Express is the latest addition to The Dollywood Company’s list of unique new rides. Wild Eagle, the country’s first wing coaster was added in 2012, while RiverRush, Tennessee’s first and only water coaster, debuted at Dollywood’s Splash Country in 2013.
