Tangoe Sees Growth in Australia for Enterprises' Fixed and Mobile Communications

Company expands by adding key customers and appointing new executives to lead sales in the region

MELBOURNE, Australia--()--Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNGO), a leading global provider of Connection Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and related services, today announced continued momentum for its Matrix Solution Suite in Australia. Tangoe’s presence in the region has been bolstered by key executive appointments, new partnerships with Airservices and Thales and the addition of 20 new customers across a wide variety of industries. The company’s growth is a direct result of the increased demand in the region for enterprises' fixed and mobile communications management.

There is a tremendous shift in the way enterprises' utilise and manage their global connections. New devices and communication methods are continually entering enterprise communications networks and as these devices proliferate, users have come to demand an environment that is always on, always available and always operating. Additionally, Tangoe has hired telecom industry veteran Mark Evans as its Commercial Director for the APAC region. Evans has more than 35 years of experience and was the founder and CEO of the telecom expense management software company Quickcomm, which he led through its acquisition by Vodafone Global Enterprise.

Tangoe has also grown its staff and added a new data center in Sydney to further support customers locally.
