H+K Appoints Simon Shaw, Chief Creative Officer to Lead New Centre of Excellence

LONDON--()--Hill+Knowlton Strategies, London (H+K) has strengthened its creative offer with the hire of award-winning creative strategist, Simon Shaw to the newly created position of Chief Creative Officer. He joins from Good Relations where he was Executive Creative Director & Head of Content.

Simon is the first external appointment to H+K’s new Centre of Creative Excellence in London, chaired by Richard Millar, and joins a collective of creative talents from around the globe. The firm will announce more details on this initiative in the coming weeks and months.

Simon has more than 15 years’ agency experience delivering strategic creative counsel and developing multi-channeled, content-led campaigns for global brands. His client portfolio includes Coca-Cola, Nike, O2, Bulmers, Ford and Land Rover and while Creative Director at Exposure the agency won three Cannes Lions awards for work with Umbro and Dr. Martins. He is also a well-renowned and respected industry authority and served as Cannes Lions judge, with Richard, in 2011.

Whilst at Exposure, Simon made a significant contribution to the company; developing its 3D brand experience offering before becoming both Creative Director and Global Brand Director. Prior to this he was one of the inaugural directors of Blair Inc. helping to build a successful agency prior to its acquisition by Brass Hat Creative.
