HKTDC: From Jellyfish Aquariums to Feeding Balls – the Hong Kong Combined Stand at the Interzoo

FRANKFURT, Germany--()--Whether aquariums, toys or fancy accessories for pets – visitors to the Hong Kong combined stand at Interzoo 2014, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will find an interesting product range from May 29 to June 1 in Hall 4 (4-507).

The rising attention of consumers to the health and well-being of their pets, results in a steady demand for suitable products. According to a survey from Euromonitor International, the focus is primarily on a pet’s wellbeing when buying accessories, pet food and toys. New developments like electronic toys and the trend for matching accessories to interior decorations further strengthen this demand. Experts expect growth of 1.4 per cent for 2014 in the competitive German market.

Aquaristics and accessories are being exhibited by AQ Spring Co., Limited (4- 509), Chuang Heng (H.K.) Manufacturing Co. (4-410) and Sanderia Group Limited (4-414). The range from AQ Spring Co., Limited includes table aquariums showing life underwater from a bird’s eye view. The appropriate filter systems are being offered by Chuang Heng (H.K.) Manufacturing Co.. Sanderia Group Limited provides aquariums for jellyfish and other, seldom-seen ocean dwellers, including its new “Orbit 20” Desktop Aquarium for jellyfish.

Animal Toys are being presented by Scarfell Enterprise Limited (4-412A) and Newkey Technology Development Limited (4-507). The “Foobler” from Newkey Technology Development Limited combines feeding and playing. At the battery-driven ball pet food drops into a separate cavity from where it can be fished out by the pet. Scarfell Enterprise Limited is exhibiting the “Dog Gym” series for fun and training for dogs.

Accessories are showcased at Pet Buddy Limited (4-412B), Innovation Far East Limited (4-507), Unison Worldwide Limited (4-513) and Tak Li (China) Limited (4-408), which presents a series of sustainable projects and products such as organic dog treats. The company is also involved in the project “Whatever It Takes”. Under this name Tak Li (China) Limited presents dog accessories designed by celebrities such as Lucy Liu, Coldplay und Pink. The products are manufactured under ethical working conditions using ecologically sustainable materials. All sales profits from this range go to 21st Century Leaders supporting charitable projects.
