FAIRFIELD, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) announced President Amy Webber invited a group of independent financial advisors to the Financial Services Institute Board (FSI) Capitol Hill Day, May 21-22 in Washington, DC. Webber and her group of seven financial independent advisors will spend a day discussing issues of importance, followed by a day visiting Capitol Hill meeting with elected officials.
Webber is intent on meeting the challenges facing the industry, especially in the realm of regulation, and through her leadership role with FSI works with industry leaders to educate those who will vote on regulatory issues. Understanding the importance of combining industry voices into one strong voice, she encourages Cambridge advisors to get involved and extended the invitation for a group of advisors to accompany her on the hill as they rally around causes that directly affect advisors and their businesses. Webber also serves as Director for the 2014 Financial Services Institute Board.

FSI Capitol Hill Day is open to all FSI members and is the only industry event where participants come together to spend time discussing issues of importance and networking with their peers followed by a full day visiting Capitol Hill meeting with elected officials.
