Natuzzi: New Store Opening in New York to Strengthen Its International Retail Network

The opening of the second Natuzzi Italia flagship store in New York is consistent with the commercial strategy strengthening in the USA as included in the 2014-2016 Business Plan

SANTERAMO IN COLLE, Bari, Italy--()--The Natuzzi Group, the largest furniture house in Italy and the player with the greatest global reach in its sector, announced that a new Natuzzi Italia store was opened in New York city. With such opening, the Company intends to strengthen its international “Natuzzi Italia” retail network through a new prestigious 400 square-meters flagship store located in New York, at 105 Madison Avenue, nowadays a real hub for professional designers and lovers of Made-in-Italy and high-quality furniture.

The opening of this second Natuzzi Store in NYC (the first, opened in 2004, is located at the SoHo quarter) was followed by another important event: the participation of Natuzzi at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF ), from May 17th to May 20th, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, for the first time with a dedicated booth.

All these initiatives, together with the recent appointment of Edward Teplitz as Chief Commercial Officer of Natuzzi Americas, are part of the Natuzzi’s reinforcement strategy in the USA, as included the Business Plan for the 2014-2016 period, approved by the board of directors in February, anticipating a double-digit sales growth in the North America region during the three-year period ending in 2016.

The Natuzzi Italia points of sales worldwide are, as of today, 595, and include 270 Natuzzi Italia stores, and 325 Natuzzi Italia galleries, the latter opened in partnership with leading department stores.
