Waterford Estates Residents Participate in Chicago Honor Flight

CHICAGO--()--One of our nation’s greatest treasures is the American Veteran. The mission of Honor Flight Chicago is to thank and pay tribute to our greatest treasures by bringing them to Washington, D.C., at no cost, so that they can be honored. Waterford Estates Retirement Community, located in Hazel Crest IL, is pleased to announce that on Wednesday June 4th four World War II Veterans will be departing from Chicago Midway airport to travel to Washington DC to see the World War II Memorial, which was built in their honor, as well as visit the Korean and Vietnam Memorials. The focus of the visit is all about thanking our veterans for the service and sacrifice they made almost 70 years ago for the freedoms we enjoy today. Waterford Estates Retirement Community is proud that our very own Henry Wick, Glenn Ward, Sven Johnson & Bob Johnson will be participating in the June 4th Chicago Honor Flight.
