MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Minneapolis-based AllOver Media, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Trans Media Group (TMG), the parent company of AJ Indoor and TMG Alternative Out-of-Home Media, further expanding the market share and rapid growth of AllOver Media.
This acquisition also marks the reunion of AllOver Media CEO Tony Jacobson with AJ Indoor, the company he originally co-founded in 1987 with longtime business partner Jim Arabanos, TMG CEO/Founder, who suddenly passed away in November 2013. “I have known Jim since we were elementary kids growing up in Hibbing, MN—he built a wonderful local brand in this market and we are proud to build upon the foundation he created. It is a perfect complement to our Twin Cities product portfolio,” remarked Jacobson.
“Jim and Tony started out as business partners in 1987 when they co-founded AJ Indoor, a concept that changed the landscape of advertising locally and nationally. Over the past months, we worked with a team of trusted advisors to develop the best strategy going forward for the company, with a focus and mission on how to best serve our clients. We made the decision to sell to AllOver Media to continue the legacy and vision that began with AJ Indoor,” said Andrea Arabanos, CEO/ President TMG Media/AJ Indoor.
With TMG on board, AllOver Media continues its rapid rise in the Twin Cities. As a part of the acquisition, AllOver Media has also added new products to its extensive portfolio including, Bus Wrap Advertising, Large-Format Murals and Wallscapes.
AllOver Media’s local indoor network is now the largest of any city in the US, with nearly 600 upscale restaurants/bars, and health clubs. “Our expanded footprint in the Twin Cities will provide significant growth opportunities and a perfect foundation for us to continue to provide innovative media products for our clients. The planned summer introduction of our new dynamic Digital Indoor Advertising platform will offer advertisers the ability to tie in their promotional activity, usually reserved for only radio and TV,” commented Jacobson.
Since inception in 2002, AllOver Media has aggressively expanded to become a multi-faceted, integrated media provider. The company, which operates throughout the US and Canada, has experienced rapid sales growth with double-digit increases over the past six years. Recently the company moved its corporate headquarters to a new 30,000 square foot location that houses all of its Company’s Divisions as well as a full service, wide format print shop.
