WHAT:

Gain teamed up with non-profit organization Portraits of Hope to transform six ordinary laundromats throughout the Bronx, Spanish Harlem and Washington Heights, into colorful, multi-dimensional art landscapes, created by community residents. Latin Billboard nominee and Bronx-born singer-songwriter Leslie Grace will help celebrate the reveal of the art projects with a special appearance in the Bronx.

Gain’s public art projects reveal will bring attention to the community’s work to beautify their neighborhoods. In addition to Leslie Grace’s special appearance, attendees will get the chance to view the art itself, receive Gain Flings giveaways, and take “selfies” within the art installation for a chance to win greater prizes through the Gain #MusicToYourNose Instagram sweepstakes.

WHY:

When art, music and culture meet in an unexpected way, anything is possible. By transforming six laundromats throughout New York City, Gain will unlock joy in communities, turning the mundane task of doing laundry into something extraordinary.
