John Luviano Appointed Head of Finance and Strategy for Lincoln Financial Group's Retirement Plan Services Business

RADNOR, Pa.--()--Lincoln Financial Group’s (NYSE:LNC) Retirement Plan Services business announces that John Luviano has been promoted to Head of Finance and Strategy for the company’s Retirement Plan Services (RPS) business, reporting directly to RPS President Chuck Cornelio. He has also been named a Senior Vice President and joins the company’s Corporate Leadership Group. Luviano replaces Lisa DeSimone, who announced her retirement last month. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Finance for the RPS business where he led financial and management reporting, financial planning, risk management, profitability analysis, and served as a key contributor to the overall business strategy and management team for RPS.

Luviano has been with Lincoln for 11 years and was a member of the Finance and Strategy team at the inception of Employer Markets in 2006 after the merger of Lincoln and Jefferson Pilot. During his tenure at Lincoln, he held a variety of positions focused on finance, risk management and strategy disciplines. Luviano also worked at Lincoln Financial Advisors where he supported the CFO and Controller in financial analysis and reporting roles.

Luviano spent several years working in the public accounting field for KPMG before joining Lincoln. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting, earning cum laude honors, from the University of Massachusetts. He is based in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
