BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Visible Measures, the leader in video content marketing, today announced the addition of Jeff Wakely as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO).
Wakely has more than 25 years of experience working with both public and private high-growth technology companies. At Visible Measures, he will use that knowledge to drive agile financial and business processes that position the company for its next phase of growth.
“Jeff is a proven business leader and finance executive who can help us to continue scaling up as an innovator in video and native content experiences,” said Brian Shin, CEO and Founder of Visible Measures. “His background as a public company CFO with deep M&A and investor-relations expertise will be invaluable to us in our next phase of growth.”
Wakely recently served as CFO of GlassHouse Technologies, a global provider of independent data center consulting and managed services, a role in which he was responsible for the company’s global finance and administrative functions. Prior to GlassHouse Technologies, he served as CFO and Treasurer for the publicly held TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTGT), where he was responsible for the strategy, operations, and compliance of the company’s finance, treasury, and control functions. Wakely has also held financial executive roles at NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), Thermo Electron (now Thermo-Fischer Scientific), VMark Software (now part of IBM), and Infinium Software. A widely recognized financial leader, he started his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP after receiving his Bachelors in Accountancy from Wake Forest University.
“Visible Measures has a tremendous opportunity as the leader in the video content marketing industry and I am excited to be joining the team at this pivotal time in the company’s evolution and growth,” said Wakely. “I believe my experiences guiding public and private companies, both financially and operationally, will help further the success that the company has already achieved.”
Founded as a measurement and analytics company in 2007, Visible Measures subsequently developed a choice-based video network and delivery platform driven by its deep consumer and campaign insights. This month, the company announced the release of Fabric℠, the first demand-side platform for content marketers that enables the buying of consumer engagement at scale, through video. Visible Measures’ entrance into the programmatic video and native space marks a new chapter in the evolution of the Boston-based company.
