PENSACOLA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pensacola Energy and Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) recently unveiled Pensacola’s third CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Fueling Station. Located in Ellyson Industrial Park at 3320 Copter Road, the new station features two “fast fill houses” for public use. It is also equipped with ten “time fill houses” — used exclusively by ECUA, a private customer — which can refuel vehicles overnight.
The station is open 24/7, and is accessible to all vehicle classes and types, and features multiple truck lanes with convenient access to Interstate 10. Payment options include Gas Card, Wex, Fuelman, Fleet One and Voyager, in addition to most major credit cards.
Pensacola is also home to another public, 24-hour CNG station located at 6722 Pine Forest Road, as well as a private station located at 2759 Palafox Street. In order to promote and facilitate the switch to this cleaner, more economical alternative fuel, Florida now offers a rebate of up to $25,000 per CNG vehicle.
