NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Panasonic, a leading provider of business telephone systems1, announced today that its latest UTG Series of SIP-based telephones, the KX-UTG200B and KX-UTG300B, have successfully completed interoperability testing with Metaswitch, a recognition that signals admission into Metaswitch Networks’ Mosaic Partner Program. Hosted cloud service providers using the Metaswitch platform can now efficiently and securely provision Panasonic’s KX-UTG200B & KX-UTG300B phones for mass deployment with plug and play simplicity and flexible configuration options to customers of all sizes in a variety of markets.
Metaswitch Networks’ Mosaic Partner Program provides a framework for third-party vendors to ensure solutions are certified with the company’s platforms. To achieve certification, Panasonic’s new SIP phones passed a variety of rigorous interoperability tests including basic functionality, advanced calling features, scalability and reliability.
Panasonic’s new SIP phones are designed to support business-class services delivered by a hosted service provider requiring no platform hardware investment and can be configured and set-up to run services on an internal hardware platform. Enterprise customers benefit from a feature-rich, affordable SIP telephony solution and low total cost of ownership. Panasonic and Metaswitch work together to support business customers who want to take advantage of the cost-efficiency, flexibility, advanced capabilities and high-performance standards of hosted telephony solutions.
“As a market leader in business telephones, Panasonic is committed to delivering high quality, fully interoperable and cost-effective UC solutions for all of our business customers,” said Kim Murtagh, Senior Product Manager for Panasonic Business Telephone Systems. “Through our ongoing relationship with Metaswitch, we continue to expand the interoperability of our phone systems and ensure our customers have a wide range of options to meet their business communications needs.”

"With the help of Panasonic, one of our Mosaic Partners, service providers don’t have to spend time and money solving compatibility problems and can, instead, focus on what’s really important."
