CHIAYI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 4-day-long exhibition FOODEX JAPAN 2014 took place in Makuhari Messe International from March 4th through 7th. 9 selected proprietors on behalf of Chiayi County was a part of this fair, aiming to establish their “exotica of gourmet and fruitiness.”
The county magistrate, Chang, Hwa-kuan was there in person to cheer up for the joiners to boost morale. Chang and the proprietors of Mountain Ali Tea and of other industries, who were dressed in an innovative hybrid of a typical aboriginal garment and a kimono, serve every customer Mt. Ali tea to draw more customers to their pavilion.
Chang said that this year was the fourth consecutive year of Chiayi County’s participation in this exhibition and progress had been made over these past years. On top of promoting the local products, Chiayi County government also displayed the peculiar and natural tourist spots in Chiayi. Four out of the nine proprietors participated in the exhibition for the very first time.
This year, ornamented in a brand new style of Mountain Ali festival, Chiayi Products Pavilion presented in a joyful atmosphere. Their “exotica” made Chiayi Products Pavilion the most sparkling star in the exhibition.
