The content, sales and promotional agreement calls for STACK to license its unique performance-oriented videos and articles featuring top professional athletes and coaches to Yahoo Sports and other relevant Yahoo properties. The deal also sets up a unified approach to the advertising marketplace and an aggregation of online traffic, which will further strengthen Yahoo Sports’ position, a leader in online sports, while allowing STACK’s content to reach a larger audience. Finally, the agreement calls for various cross promotions and integrations at STACK properties for Yahoo Sports’ fantasy products and the Yahoo Sports app.
The deal between STACK and Yahoo Sports will offer advertisers unmatched scale and reach to a target demographic of young, active consumers. As part of the agreement, STACK will retain editorial control of its digital properties, but STACK and Yahoo Sports will collaborate to develop new original video content and branded content as part of their joint effort to better serve the advertising community.
