DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Bob Anderson has joined the Firm’s Denver office as a partner in the Finance & Restructuring Group. Mr. Anderson is a project development and finance attorney who focuses on renewable energy and clean technology matters. He has worked with developers, bankers and strategic partners on the financing and development of wind, solar, bio-fuel and waste-to-energy facilities, as well as gas-fired power plants and oil and gas pipelines. He has also represented international, national and regional banks on a variety of credit facilities, including syndicated loans, real estate credits, lease financings and letters of credit.
Mr. Anderson has served as counsel on projects to construct sports stadiums, railways, toll roads and heavy industrial facilities. In addition to the financing of such projects, he handles entity formation and capitalization, site acquisition, EPC agreements, power purchase and other off-take agreements, O&M contracts, and feedstock and fuel supply contracts.
Mr. Anderson has counseled project developers throughout the United States and in the Caribbean, Asia (China, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand), the Middle East and Africa. In addition to working with commercial lenders, he has arranged financings through government entities such as the U.S. Department of Energy, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Before joining Dorsey, Mr. Anderson was the partner in charge of the firm-wide Renewable Energy and Clean Technology Industry Team at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Anderson received a B.A. from Duke University and his J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.
