BOGOTA, Colombia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management, celebrates 3 years in Colombia with an array of local festivities.
The celebrations, which include the delivery of official Colombian Soccer Jerseys, take place in recognition of the more than 1000 Convergys’ employees and their hard work and commitment to the company and the local community.
Since its opening, Convergys and its employees have been deeply involved in a number of charity initiatives. Through the Convergys Community Action (CAN) Program, the team has partnered with organizations such as Un Techo para mi Pais, Hospital Cancerologico, to name some. Together, the Colombia team has donated over $6000 in clothing, food and supplies to the community and more than 3500 volunteer hours.
